Unhappy PT Turbo 2.4 starting problems

I have a 2004 PT Turbo Touring and recently I have gotten problems starting it up. One day my PT had starting a little bit lazy and the next day it had starting lazy ... but during the day runs great. In the next day morning I can't starting it up PT only clicking when I turn ignition key to run. Clicking many times when I hold ignition key in run position. Battery is fine. Alternator checked and everything looked fine. Relay fine. All wiring around cheked fine.

What else that might cause the problem. Thanks for any help on the issue.

How was the battery checked? Under load? Many times we have found that it is a problem with the battery.

I think Hooligan is 100% correct. Your battery is your problem. Who told you your battery is putting out peak power? The starter takes more power to turn over the engine than anything else. The tell tale sign is the clicking sound you hear.

One fast way to check is to jump your battery from a reliable source (another running vehicle). If it starts right up, then the problem is the battery.

You didn't fill out your profile so can't tell where your from. Your accent in writing sounds a little foreign. If your in the U.S., one of the brand name auto stores like Auto Zone, Discount Auto or Pep Boys will check out your battery and alternator for free.

So the battery posts/cables have been cleaned? They can visually look ok, but aren't.

Don't know how often you use your Cruiser...I use mine very infrequently, like maybe once a week. I want to keep my battery in top shape so I bought a trickle charger http://http://www.batterytender.com/ and keep the car plugged in to it all the time it's in the garage. I also have one on my motorcycle. Both batteries are nearly 5 years old and are strong as new.

I have a '05 non-turbo & my car is doing the same thing...making the clicking sound...I had the battery checked & they said it was fine...so I took out the starter & had it checked & they said it was good. I charged my battery overnight on a trickle charger, put it back in, but same clicking sound...I've also inspected all the wires (& replaced the positive cable), cleaned the terminals, etc...any suggestions?

The clicking sound is actually the starter solenoid - the solenoid engages the starter to the engine to turn it over. When ther isn't enough amperage the starter solenoid tries to engage the starter, fails, tries again - hence the clicking. Was the solenoid checked as well?
It's usually the battery.
Wires to starter were checked, too?
