Default Intro and ? about GReddy Turbo Timer

Whats up fellow PT-Nuts?? I've been a long time lurker around the site and this is my first post. First off, i would like to intro myself. My name is Omar Leon, Im 18 and live in Norcross, Ga(suburb of Atlanta)and own a Inferno Red GT. I have owned her for the past 4 months and already have almost 10k!(for some odd reason I can't stop driving??)
My current mods are as follows: removed silencers and weather stripping, panasonic ghost head unit,Alpine type X components in front stock speakers in back(heard theres no point in changing the anyways) RF HX2 Power 15" in back for bass(custome box takes up trunk)PS2 under pass. seat(anyone looking for underseat storage bin??) PS2 plugs next to head unit, replaced rearview with 6" screen, red undercar neon kit, red LED washer nozzels, and ofcourse, a GReddy TT. Im still working on my interior so i havent really done anything to the engine(besides, waiting for stage 2)
My question is, to all that have the greddy, how did you hook it up to where the speedometer on the unit works?? where is the wire you have to tap into to get the speed reading??

thanks for reading such a long post and hope to hear from you soon.

P.S. anyone here in Metro Atl knows how or knows someone that installs lowering springs?? I have the goldline slammers in my living room, the cheapest ive found for install is $200 plus alignement, and im a little strapped for cash now.... thanks

Hey Omar, welcome to the forum! Sounds like your car's fixing to be pretty sweet! I'd love to see some picks of your stereo system if you have any!

I have never been able to get the automatic timer to work. The manufacturer claims that it reads the RPMs thru the ground wire... I have never seen it add time.

I have it set at three minutes all the time and shut it down when not needed or when in a mall when I have to make sure that the alarm is active.

i have it to where it turns off the car after the countdown, my question was where is the wire to hook it up to where the speed comes up on the timer? i got the unit from hector at exhaust depot and on the instalation tape he said to hook up the wire to one of the harnesses in the engine bay(i think the ones on the right side) he did the demo on a srt-4 so he didnt actually show how to do it on a pt.as for pics of my system, i have to borrow my bros digi cam to get some pics, then ill need some help on how to actually post them....thanks
