Can someone with a parts manual please lookup the part number for the air box to turbo hose for me? The repair manual calls this either the "clean air hose" or "fresh air hose". I want to gut one and remove the internal baffle / silencer.
Thanks [8)] |

It is molded directly into the tube and cannot be cut out. In fact most of the tube is silencer and it actually makes the tube about 1" narrower then it appears on the outside.
This is the tube the silences the turbo whine at high RPMS. With it removed you get a high pitched "whistle" that starts at about 4500 RPM and continues till redline.
