Default Newb

I'm going to pick-up an '05 L Turbo on Monday, 49k, auto. I've wanted one since they came out and finally found what I wanted (Turbo is an extra). Drives great and is in excellent condition. Anything anyone can offer for what to look out for, besides drive it. I also have a '97 Miata for topless fun.

Cool Re: Newb

Outside of normal maintenance; you should have had new plugs & wires, as the OEM one are trash. (as early as 30K)
At 50K I believe that you need a full tranny flush, and replacement with a "4" fluid.
If you want the turbo to last, you will use a synthetic oil, like Mobil 1.

Welcome. SoonerCruiser covered it. Whenever I buy a used car, I always change the oil - then I KNOW when it was changed and what's in it. Go synthetic with the turbo.
Also check the tires - most cars are low on pressure because people don't check them.
