Gals/Guys,
Anyone know if either Mopar or someone else is going to come out with a dash replacement that would add a boost gauge among other things...[:I] I think it was almost a crime for DC to not include this!!![xx(] Thanks, LIP |

You mean a whole new dash to incorporate a Boost Guage? I would say there is a 100% chance that they will *not* do this. Even if they put it on future cars, the best you can hope for is that the cars that do have it could be found in a salvage yard to get it out of and that it would fit, or that you could order it as a replacement from the parts dept.

Why would they not?
I've seen other third party OEM dash's that integrate additional items as well for other cars... LIP

I doubt DCX will do it also b/c they are already creating the A-pillar gauge pods which will allow use of a boost gauge. I am quite certain that they will find that to be a sufficient answer to the boost gauge issue.

With what it would cost them to tool up to produce a modified dash I would agree that they will not do this.

'3rd party OEM' is kind of a contradiction of terms. By definition, the OEM is the same manufacturer that makes them for the car manufacturer, in this case, DaimlerChrysler. I have never seen anyone make an entire new dash assembly to accomodate any additional guages.
