Default Turbo on or off...

I'm surprised that there's no indicator for when the turbo kicks in. Has anyone come up with anything - a gauge or light to let you know? I mean, there's no real kick-in-the-pants in the 'lite' version, just a little more pep. - I guess I'd like to know.

Comes on around 2500 rpm. You need a boost gauge to tell.

I wouldn't think 30 more hp is gonna give you that kick-in-the-pants feel ?

I agree. Put a Stage 1 on it and you'll really feel a difference.

Drive a non-turbo PT, then you'll feel it...

Cool Re: Turbo on or off...

I've both myself.
The na soonercruiser is my day car (I'm saving the GT vert for my later years); and I easily recognize the "kick in the pants" with the turbo!
