and have some questions. who makes after market duals for this car? borla and so on and who makes a good cold air intake Airade? and can i use my borla cat bat from my 01 pt on this car or is it not good enough. and does E&G make a grill for the fron the billit one i have one on my 01 pt and would like one on my future turbo.
also i also saw they are making a 180 hp turbo and was wondering how much of a difference that would make over my 150 hp pt and can i hop that up got get close to 200 out of it? i ask just in case i cant afford the gt which i really want but just in case. any help would be great. and sorry if this has been asked before just want to ask before i buy and trade mine in. thanks Paul[8)] |

The answers to all of your questions can be found within these forums, use the search feature with your keywords and you will find more than enough information.
As for the 180HP car, in my opinion (although I'm not sure about the price of the 180) it can't be worth it to pay the extra for the 180 over the non aspired model. 15HP gain over stock, why bother? I think those 180's are a bit of a cash grab and not much more.

Actually I expect that one of the tuner mags will look into this issue. Since the turbo has been bloated up in price and who knows what has been deleted because it wasn't necessary, the cheapie turbo might be something to look at because:
* Are you going to replace the springs any way? * A rear sway bar is an add to either! * Replacing shocks aftermarket? * Will putting in a Stage I kit bump from 180 to 240hp? * How much extra for intercooler hardware? * How much $$ savings if you option the 4wheel disc,ABS brakes? * IS THIS THE TURBO LONG BLOCK WITH ALL THE EXTRAS? * Is there a weight savings(carpet, sound blankets, etc.)? * Aftermarket wheels wider than 6" might be prefferable! Remember Saleen makes his mustang upgrade from the cheapest V6 pony because he is going to trash 90% of the vehicle anyway. |
