Thought I would post these pics I made For Wiring the Blitz FATT 2 Turbo Timer.
---------------------- First off, here is the wiring schematic from ther Service manual for the Ignition Harness connector. We need to tap the 1,2,3 wires. ![]() A picture of the Wires that need to be tapped. And the corresponding colors for the Blitz Harness. ![]() A picture of the Blitz harness tapped into the wires. ![]() A picture of the Connector back in place and the Blitz harness zip tied out of the way of anything. Also make sure the wires have enough slack so that the steering column can move up and down. ![]() Connect the 2 grounds and purple wire to a good ground. In this case I used a fuse box screw. ![]() Now all you have to do is figure out where you want to put the control module. ![]() Hope this will help you out! Enjoy! -=Matt=- |

This is really great. Thank you so much. I think I know what I did wrong, for some reason I thought I had to splice a black wire, I will try this tomorrow and let you know how I make out.

Hmmm, well my dome light does stay on when the timer is running the car, but the radio doesnt. There are (2) accessory wires, number 3 which is red, and number 7 which is Black with a white stripe like hector said. Both wires will work, I think I will try the black with white stripe when i get back on friday. Hopefully it will take care of the dome light.

What is the talk about a black wire splice?? My radio stays on and has since the TT was installed. I thought that was normal. Hector was this a new find after the initial wire harness was made?? Thanks,

I spent about a half hour today trying to get my TT to work. No luck. The only difference I see with my wire harness and the one pictured is that mine has extentions, attached to the blue with red stripe is a black wire, attached to the green with red stripe is a solid green, and there is a red on the red. I wouldnt think that this would make a difference though. The only thing, that i think could be wrong is where the ground plugs into the TT "brain". is there anything special that you have to do with this or just plug it in? Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this to work?

Mr. Blonde, The only way to approach this is to use a continuity meter (an Ohm meter). Remove the steerinmg column cover, disconnect the switch plug, and remove the plug in the back of the Timer module. Check for continuity in all wires from the plug that goes into the module to the inside of the plug that goes into the ignition switch. If you have continuity there there is nothing wrong with the wiring. If the wiring checks out then the module is probably at fault and needs to be replaced. If you need or want to discuss this further send me an e-Mail @ gill66482@comcast.net there may yet be a few other things to try. Contact me & maybe we can talk. [|)]
