It most likekly was not a 2003 with the 390HP, Supercharged, They make 13.5 from the factory.
93-95, we can beat with no problems. 96-98, it is hard but not imposible, it all depends on the driver. Newer than that,........ Like i said in my latest string, I saw a new Cobra take off and it looked lmpossible to beat, It destroyed a Modded Supra. Punch says he got beat by a Mach 1,and they have 305 Horses. anyway, Another kill for the PT-GT pack!! They can have 300 horses or more, but it all comes to those secconds of acceleration, and if they blink, they are PT-meat!!! Ian

I took a 2003 Cobra at the 1/8 last week, but I shouldn't have. He was probably the worst driver I have ever seen. He bogged it off the line, nearly caught up in 2nd, but missed third. He lost. I ran a 9.471 at 73.48 MPH on that run with a .602 light. I was stoked!

bottom line is that when you're racing a stang and your GT is auto, it all comes down to how good the stang driver is. If the stang knows how to launch properly a lightly modified PT GT will get eaten alive. To even hope to take modded GT stangs your PT GT will need most of the boltons and especially a good boost controller...
BUT GOOD KILL!!!!
