Go here and ask. PTCrew.com - Learn it or Burn it. Performance parts are getting hard to come by for the PT turbo.

The best performance intake for the 2003 is to upgrade to the composite manifold that comes stock on the '05+ models. It has very smooth runners and has a diverter built into it the resolves a lean condition in the #3(it think) cylinder. You would have to cut open the stock manifold, port it and then weld it back up to get the flow of the composite and you would not get the diverter.

You can't really change the exhaust manifold as the turbo housing is cast into the manifold. If you are udgrading your turbo to a bigger one you might find a custom tubular manifold for it. I think someone built one at one point.

Hello,

that sounds interesting! Is there a drawing or picture that shows the difference between the earlier cast alloy intake manifold and the later composite manifold?

I would be really interested especially how that diverter looks!

Why did you delete it - I liked the pics in the email notification!

Is the mentioned diverter where I made the red circle?

Ok, but where is that diverter? Must be something like a "flap"!?

It is not a flap. It is just molded into the runners. It just evens out the airflow to the cylinders.
