Default How much should a new wiring harness cost?

Hi, I still can't get the engine light to go off, but I also need a new wiring harness and don't want to get ripped off. Thanks for your help

What is the cause of the engine light? (What code).
Who says you need a new wiring harness? The cost of the harness is on thing, the labor/hassle is quite another!

Well the wiring harness was rubbing on the engine and one of the wires was rubbed through. Yes the engine light is on and the code is P0304 which is a misfire on the spark plug, right? I am not much of a mechanic so I can't even seem to reset the engine light. The plugs and wires were changed but the light has still been on for a while. I need to get the car inspected and I need that stupid light off. Thanks for the help

If it were me, I'd splice (solder in a new piece) of any wire or wires before I'd think of tackling a wiring harness.
I also cannot see a wirein the harness giving you the misfire code.
To reset the code, disconnect the battery for a few minutes.
If the code comes back, you might have an intake gasket leak, you could swap the plug, then the wire between 1 & 4 (easiest to get at) and see if code changes.
Car run okay? If there's a misfire, you should get some hesitation or stumble...
