new car finally home !!

hello all,well all my troubles started on june 28 2003 and hopefully came to an end yesterday august 29 as i picked up my new inferno red gt FINALLY!! feels so good to be back in a gt again

My talk with the General Sales Manager at the dealership yesterday was successful. He took back my defective 2003 Inferno Red GT Turbo and next Wednesday I will be taking delivery of a new replacement vehicle--2004 PT Cruiser GT Turbo (220hp/auto-stick) in a new color--Seamist Green--a bright metallic blue-green. [8D]

They have [u]not yet</u> specifically identified the engine problem with my 2003 GT. Before it's all over I think they will end up putting a new engine in the car and sell it as "used" [B)]. Guess what? I don't really care anymore! See "mysterious turbo engine noise" thread in the Turbo Performance Forum for specific details if interested.

Bring on that new 2004 GT High Output Turbo car...only three more days!!! [^] [?]

Gary, Congrats my friend, and good luck with the new cruiser. I guess you'll be changing the home page to ????? as red road rocket doesn't quite cut it any more. Please keep us informed on the 2004 performance, comfort,etc..... [8]

You are right on! I spent many hours setting up the homepage but had fun and learned much doing it. I'll probably modify the webpages eventually.

Let's see now--what would be a "good name" for a [u]Seamist Green GT Turbo car</u>??[:I] [:I] Think that is last on my priority list. First, I need to be sure the new car runs okay and there are no "mysterious" sounds coming from the engine bay. [|)]

[8D] I also like your slogan about "turbo lag giving V-8s a chance"--too bad you have a copyright on it! Guess what? My "Red Road Rocket" didn't have any turbo lag! But that's all history now. [?]
