I bought black because it looks sinister without standing out in traffic. If I didn't care about getting tickets, my choices would be:
1. Inferno Red
2. Electric Blue
3. Dream Tangerine
.... but I dig the black - despite the 'hot box" effect and need for weekly baths!

I'm partial to my Onyx Green. It's a real shade shifter in the sun from green to a dark slate gray.

Electric Blue has to be the color of the year for 03. When I was dreaming and finally ready to order silver was my number 1 choice up until 15 minutes before I actually was sitting in the dealership placing my order. It all hinged around how easiy it was going to be to keep the car looking clean...silver hides the dirt and road-grime so much easier than most dark colors. But for the "Wow" factor that Electric-Blue was (and still is) such an attention grabber I just had to have it and so it was the color of choice that went on my order. Now a week doesn't go by without someone commenting to me or my misses how much they "love that color" or "what is the name of that color", etc.
Deen
P.S. My next color choices would be 2. Onyx Green 3. Deep Cranberry 4. Sea Mist Green with Woody option

I want to know why we keep getting such bland color choices. Before we bought the Silver GT, we thought we wanted the Onyx Green, till we saw it in person. Ugh. That color belongs on a minivan (which apparently DCX thinks of it as.) Almond, White, Pale Grandma green, Yawn. When are they going to start offering some interesting colors? (The DC2 Tangerine looks Awesome, as does the Electric Blue) Why can't we get the GT in Solar Yellow? Give me Hemi Orange, SubLime, Plum Crazy with a Rally Pac stripe! The GT Cruiser screams for the eye searing colors of the early 70's.[:0]

I got a Black Beauty with purple flames (SEXAY!), but I gotta say Cranberry looks the best, especially in full-on woody regalia. I saw a cranberry woody at the grocery store and it looked like a big ol' wooden shipping crate on wheels, totin' around a giant eggplant. Just my opinion, besides, I love eggplant...
