hard pipes i would be interested in. beats that rubber crap they use now.
The exhaust guy i used looked into running a oval or round muffler in the tunnel. If your car is stock suspension it is ok, but if you drop it clearance is a major issue. there's not really a heck of a lot of room with the GT. I had my guy remove the spare and it's hanger, that opened up a ton of space and a lot more possibilities.
It hid the magnaflow and looks a lot cleaner, no hanging pipes. not a major thing with the tire either. he made a boot, which i keep in the back of the car under the shelf at it's lowest setting.

PTGT Redman, as you know from a previous post, I just have to have maximum room in the trunk for the wifes crap! Any estimates on how much power that setup gives you?? I think any system for sale should be able to be mounted with the car lowered at least 2" cause most of us that want power also want handling and I tink the stock GT sits too high off the ground!

When I made my srt system, I did not consider what would happen if i lowered the car. Now with the car lowered, the sway bar moved fwd about 1 inch so it now rubs on one of hte flanges. Teh remidy for this was to use energy suspention endlinks which are shorter. This returns the sway bar to the original position, also makes the car handle better on the turns.

That is why it would sure be great if you put together a system for the GT taking all this good info into account so we dont have to later!!

Yup thats what i plan on doing. I also want to make it so the tire stays in.

Im yet to get any request,

Do you guys mind a single tip out the back instead of a muffler. That way i can place the resonoator or muffler in the center of the car.

Here is a pic of my tip:

Hector,

I am interested in a stainless 3" exhaust. In case you didn't know, ATR sells a 3" stainless exhaust for the PT, however, at $600, I don't know....

Any idea on a "ballpark" figure for your proposed exhaust?

Thanks,

Scott

I can live without duals if that serves a usefull function! I would like the tip to either be turned down to clear everything, in stock position, or cut into the back with a chrome 1/2 ring like they do on some duals!

I have the duals now, and would hate to give them up.

the ATP is not a full turbo back system. I dont think ill be making it in stainless yet. It will require me to order a large quantity of stainless which will equal 100 systems or more. I dont want to get into that much of an investment.

I will not make it in a dual setup cause it will require removing the spare. Dual 3" is huge.
