Default Turbo Install Question

Hi everyone. I am installing a turbo on an '06 PT for a customer and came across an issue. I'll be honest, I havent done a lot of searching, but I'm hoping you can help me out.

He is going with 440cc injectors and an OBX fuel rail. The issue I just came across is that the thermostat housing and radiator hose hit the new fuel rail. Does the turbo PT come with a different thermostat housing? I need it to be about a 1/4 inch taller. We've come across a lot of hick ups along the way but I think this is one of the last humps we need to cross to get it done. Thanks for the help.

The manuals that I have that cover both the turbo and non-turbo models don't mention anything about one being different that the other.

Just thinking out loud but maybe cut the neck and extend it with a piece of radiator hose. Might be iffy with no way to bead the ends though to keep it from coming off. I wonder if you could apply heat and expand the cut ends a little or something...just rambling...

Yes and No. I have a hard copy of the Haynes manual and Chilton manual and a downloaded copy of the 01-04 Cruiser Repair manual.

Anyone can go to the Tech & Performance section of this forum under the "sticky" section and download the Repair model for their particular year.

Did you have to pay for the Hayness and Chilton?

My personal thanks to veteran and novice crewbies that have offered information and how-to's they have been instrumental in taking LiquidPT from modded car to stock to live a more quiet and sedate life.

*noted* Thanks for the info Crewzin. I downloaded the files out of the tech and performance section and opened them. I said "YES! THIS IS AWESOME!" I'm used to having to turbo a car with none of that kind of stuff...
