Default Will receive my "replacement turbo car" soon!

Due to the ongoing "mysterious" engine noise that could not be identified and fixed my Chrysler-Jeep dealer is taking back my 2003 GT ("Red ROAD ROCKET"). I will be getting a new 2004 PT Cruiser GT High Output Turbo (220hp/Autostick) in "Seamist Green" like the one pictured-below.

Guess I better contact Jody to have him change my "User Name" from Gary03GT to Gary04GT.

Hey, Bob--Mine is a "done deal!" I could have driven the new car home for Labor Day but left it at the dealership until they install the accessories, etc. They will be removing the rear stabilizer bar, high-note horn, rear-molded splash guards from the 2003 GT and installing them (at no charge) on the new replacement car along with paint-sealant and undercoating. I stopped by the dealership over the weekend and removed "all the mods" except for the performance exhaust system and pin-striping. Of course [)] these stay on the car but I did receive about a 60% credit which I felt was fair. As I was typing this post I got a call from the dealership to tell me the car will be ready for me to take delivery tomorrow afternoon. [^]

Since the 2003 GT had 6400 miles on it the General Sales Manager used "lemon law calculations" which resulted in some depreciation for the mileage. Since it was a "MSRP to MSRP exchange"--I did not pay MSRP but only dealer invoice--I received full credit for all the rebates that were available at the time I purchased the 2003 GT. But, the best part is, the GSM will deal directly with DC in completing all the paperwork, etc., so I don't have to do anything and there is absolutely no hassle for me. [8D]
