Default Subaru WRX STi

We got one of these here at work this week from Subaru North america as a project car.
A word of warning.....if you line up with one, you will most likely be beaten......badly!
This car has 300HP and a 6-speed from the get-go.You can tell the difference between it and the regular WRX by the size of the hood-scoop.On the STi it's about as tall as the old 6-Pack hood scoop on the old MoPars.

Awesome car though.

don't forget the ugly wing!

p.s. peeps are downgrading their parts (changing for the wrx wing, scoop etc) to remain stealth, yes they are fast.

they will beat you off the line, around the line, through the line.

Punch
p.s. i was almost going to buy a wrx, but the insurance was much higher.

Check the I/C Sprayer that it comes with...

See how it is connected and maybe get some pictures so we can try to copy it.

Yeah, I'm wondering if it's internal or external on the I/C.

the STI WILL blow the doors off of a GT. I beleive it runs a low 13 quarter mile STOCK! With very minor mods this car will hand a Viper it's @$$ . But for a $50,000 dollar sticker in Canada, i'll rethink my options. Afterall it still comes with a plastic and cloth interior.

I have an STi. The IC spray is a small tank in the trunk with hoses running to the seal around the scoop and has a single sprayer that sprays across most of the IC. It's crazy fast...walks all over everything I've come up against. And soon, go-fast goodies.

Wait until the Baja Turbo starts hitting the streets. It has the same 2.5L Turbo engine as the Forrester XT (Grocery Getting Sleeper). I think if you start looking deeper, you will find that the Forester XT and the Baja Turbo share the same engine as the STI. Guess DCX isn't the only one that can detune their platforms to meet a niche.
