PT Engines. NEED YOUR HELP

Ok, so I have a PT Turbo engine that I am putting in my srt 4. I have a few questions for the experts here, cause i know nothing about these cars. They engine i have has a different engine harness than the one that my srt 4 has. What does this mean? Also the crank counter is in a different place than my srt 4. I bought this from a company and they told me it would work fine in my srt 4 and that all the internals are the same also. I am beginning to have my doubts though. I am not sure of the year of the motor so i will have to check. Does this sound like the turbo one i should have. I mean it came with a stock turbo on it and the valve cover says 2.4 L turbo.

I moved your post over to the turbo section for a better response. Personally, from what I understand, I think you have a bunch of problems. You'll probably need the computer and a few other things from the PT before you can finish your swap of the turbo engine into your Neon.

Same engine, but different intake manifold, throttlebody and intercooler piping. Internals are all the same, too. If you still have your srt-4 engine you will be able to make it work.
