Default In What Order?

So I have this nice new PT Turbo, I like it alot but like so many others want to "slightly" modify for performance. I've never modified anything before but have repaired plenty.

Question is, what order do I go in for the mods? Suspension first then power, Stage 1 then BOV, exhaust, tires etc.

Thought I'd put it out here because I've read all about it on these forums, thanks for any suggestions.

I'd do the stage I first.

good suggestions guys...i agree. You need a little bit of go before you do handling to keep you happy. Then the exhaust and BOV will just complement your stage one.

it depends on you personaly i beleive. I did the suspension first because it helps the handeling side of the performance but also enhanced the looks of the car which is also important to me. The next obviouse step for me is the stage 1. ITs a relativly simple way for me to get some true hp gains. So with that it takes care of my need for looks, handeling, and power. But im warning you, what starts out as a few minor mods can turn into somthing more, then more, then more! Moding these things has proven to be very addictive (and expensive ) Have fun!!

I think it depends on if you are doing labor or not! I have found that a suspension guy wants to do a complete job and will adjust his labor to get you to do it all rather than in expensive chunks. Same thing for mechanics! So I would do suspension complete - two bars springs, shocks, bushings etc. Then I would do stage 1 and 2 if desired and ready, intake, exhaust and BOV! And on the seventh day rest [^]

If your car is a 2003 I'd do the anti-sway bars first. Get rid of that nasty body roll.

Then the Stage 1.

If you have no rear sway, take care of the handling first. The extra power will get you into extra trouble if you don't help the PT shoulder the extra power.

If he only knew. He'd do the swaybars first, then the lower it with the koni's going all the way round and finish it off with the Stage 1. Why? Because this things handles like a "POS" without the sways. But with the sways, it's a completely different machine. Then you lower it and add the Koni's and you have a sweet handling machine. Finish it off with the Stage (1) and you have a very nicely balanced machine. Mine hit the "grapevine" like a raped ape, passed everything but that damn "FIREHAWK", grrr.
