im in the process of doing a swap and i guess i should have found this out before starting. but is there a difference in transmission for a 03 gt engine and a 02 limited transmission (hook up, performance, etc.)?

Same 41TE auto tranny and it is a weak link.

Different trannies so I'd say yes. I guess you could check to see if they are the same part number.

No, the automatics are the same - only in '04 I think, did they take out 2 clutch packs for N/As, turbos are the same as always and identical to N/As trannies up to '04.

You're right I was thinking 5 speed. I think in '06, for the non turbo, they went to the 40TE with two clutch packs. It's really a shame they made the weak auto tranny (41TE) even weaker.

thats good that they didn't change anything. but my other question was that do i need to change my fuel pump out. i really don't want to deal with the hassle at the moment. is the stock fuel pump enough for a turbo engine? only asking because some of the parts are interchangeable (ex, transmission).

The stock gt pump can handle more psi than the injectors can... A simple return line w/ an 03 rail and schrader you can manage more boost than your n/a internals can handle
