Default why do some gts have silver antenna others have
hello all, i had a black antenna on my electric blue pt , now on my inferno red i have a silver one?? any reasons why??

My friend and I both have Electric Blue GTs, His has the black and I have the silver and we both don`t have a clue as to why. Both were built the same month and bought at the same dealership.

Mine came black and I don't know why but I replaced it with those shorty plastic ones cause I like the look and it still gets half descent AM reception in my area.

Bob,

I have an Electric Blue GT [geez, that's why he's called that... ] with a silver antenna. Why the differences? It's probably due to the shipments of antennas. Whatever was available in the day's production was used. No conspiracies, no rhyme or reason, just what's available...

Inferno Red with silver ant, but replaced with chrome and chrome bezel. I like chome.

I noticed at my dealer, most PT's had no antennas, I didn't think of checking mine untill the ride home, they must have put it on during the pre delivery cleanup. Not quite chrome, but bright silver, looks good on Deep cranberry. I am planning on keeping the long one, too much driving between Baltimore and DC to risk a shorty, I NEED to be able to catch the Ravens on sunday's I work, Go Jamal 295 rushing yards against the Browns.[?][^]
