Default Tire /Wheel Question

Does anyone have any ideas on any problems I may run into if I
install the following size tires and wheels?
18x7.5, 225/40R18, my car also has a 2" drop in the front.
Thanks for any ideas, Phil

I've got 215's and they're tight. TireRack says 225's won't work

If you want to be a hero, find a nice looking wheel that is of 17" or 18" dia. and 8" wide that will hold a 225 or 235 x 45 aspect performance tire. You must fit them into a lowered PT without grinding out the wheel wells, or having the tire fall off the rim. Pictures are a must!

This is your task, Manchester Man, if you choose to accept it. If you or any of your team is caught, we will disavow any knowlege. This mesage will self destruct in 10 seconds!

Kirby,
I have a lowered cruiser with 17x8 Mille Miglia's.
They have 225/45 ZR17's on them with no rub or scraping.
See link below for pic's.

Kirby, they are the Dunlop SP9000's
The offset on my wheels is 35 degrees. I had them on my 01 but b/c of the wider front calipers, I had to add 3mm spacers on the fronts. Run great, nice ride.

So your ofset is 35 milimeters total? (I had a hard time with the degrees) -- (maybe you were thinking caster/camber settings).

Scuse, sorry...no 35mm.
Worked without a hitch on the 01,needed more front clearance on the turbo.

you know, back in June I say a pt with 235 40 17 on it. I was walking by it at the show. And noticed that the tires were a little wider than I have seen on these cars. And they they were, 235's.
