Hahahaha.......I e-mailed Edelbrock asking if this will be cat-back or turbo-back and the guy says 'Where did you see that? We don't have any plans for a PT Turbo exhaust.'.I replied to him with the URL for the web site and he says 'Yes, we are developing brake lines for the car through our Russell division, but have no plans for an exhaust system for the Turbo.'.
Go figure. UPDATE: After pointing it out to the guy at Edelbrock twice, including one snap-shot of their web page, he says he was mistaken and asked if I was local and wanted my car to be used, lol! Unfortunately I told him I was on the East Coast, but I would pass along that they are in fact working on one for the Turbo. So if you're near these guys in Torrance, I would give them a call!

I just got a new Edelbrock Catalog. In it on page#
170 they list a "Ceramic coated PT Cruiser header PN# 47492 got a 4 hp gain over stock header. Looking at it-it is for a N/A PT Cruiser. Suggested Retail price $377.95. Painted Black $321.95. Hope this helps. H. |

That's because you can't make a header for the Turbo. The turbo is built-into the exhaust manifold.
I just got this reply back when I asked him if it would be Cat-Back or Turbo-Back: "I called our exhaust department, they said that they will be looking at both and if we do make a turboback the turbine outlet will be made from cast iron. However, the final word will be a decision based upon engineering's and accounting's findings. Whichever one we release, be assured that it will make more HP. If it didn't, we wouldn't manufacture it."

Well, it's good to hear about the brake lines since it adds another selection to my original post: http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/...?TOPIC_ID=3373
