Try the "key trick" - has your reader pulled codes before? Dunno...
There are times CEL comes on w/no codes, but if you disconnect battery, CEL should go out.

Well, it just went out on it's own, and no codes.

But, put some gas in today, tightened cap, cel light comes on and stayed on. Code P0304 again. Tried removing and replacing gas cap 4 times, still light is on. I cleared code and it comes right back.

Maybe time for a new gas cap?

I think I gapped my plugs around .42, dam. maybe I should redo them, but what a pain.
Could the gap cause the slight miss at idle?

Gas cap has nothing to do with P0304 - that's a cyl 4 misfire...
Swap the 2 outer wires. If code becomes P0301, it's a bad wire. If it stays P0304, look at the plug.

And these are new wires. I had this code before, that is why I replaced plugs/wires.
I'll swap them and see what happens

Exact same rig here……….. Came here first time for the same advice on getting those plug wires off……. I use anti-seize and dielectric grease on all my rigs now. But have NEVER seen plug wires stick the way they did on the wife's '05 PT GT.

NGK Iridium IX plugs all around - good stuff.

Iridium IX

What I used that worked well with leverage against a 2x4 was the Craftsman Robo grips - Everyone needs these - soooo handy:

Got the wires off with no damage - still original wires on her (only 30K on the '05 PT GT).

Okay, gassed up the other day, replaced cap tightened, and CEL came on.
Drove all day, removed gas cap and reinstalled it. Next morning CEL was out. Checked for codes, none showed.

Seems to appear everytime I get gas in car
