Default Crazy question regarding Turbo Cruiser Engine

I know everyone wants to add horsepower by upgrading to a 2.4L turbo. My question is (and I've searched on this forum), is it possible to DOWNGRADE, that is, install a non turbo PT engine in an 04 GT?

Thanks for any help...

I wouldn't even know where to begin, but if you want to set up a Frankenstein type deal, let me know and I'd swap you my N/A for your turbo any day! :P

Welcome.
Gotta ask - WHY?
In theory, you could program a GT with "turbo lite" code to detune it to 180 hp, and run on regular gas, but Chrysler doesn't release the code, so don't know how you could get that done.

One word...NO! Will not work! No how no way! Can't be done! Does not compute. Wait I think I used more than one word?
