Out with the OLD, In with the NEW!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() PT-Tuning has done a great job with this part. The finish is perfect and the sound is great. Might even have more POWER! |

Nice pictures. [8D] I did the same thing yesterday with my GT--new BTG muffler installed! Good fit, nice look, and great sound! A better value than the Magnaflow I had on my first GT. Both have a "low-mellow sporty sound" but IMHO the BTG sound is "deeper" and sounds better. [8)]

Looks great Steve! Now for the next question.....how much?? and the second question...does it DRONE inside the car at highway speeds?? Inquiring minds want to know!

$225 FREE shipping from PT-Tuning. NO DRONE. Actually this exhaust is fairly quiet. You hear it when you accelorate mostly. I've romped on it and let off to see if I get the "burble" and I can barely hear one. Definately no "popping". I like the sound and even though you can see the "muffler" it is polished and looks great. It only took 15 minutes to install and it fit perfectly without any adjustments. What more could you ask?

It's even better if you get the complete cat-back system

What is the advantage of getting the "complete cat-back system"? [:I]

I think you get a resonator with the complete system. Of course everything is stainless with the complete system. I didn't want to spend that much so I opted for just the axle back system. I've also heard that the complete system is quieter. Anyone have any mosre feedback on this?

I can't imagine this swap NOT giving you a few more ponies. Just look at the pic of the 2 side by side. The straight through design of the BTG HAS to relieve a little more presure. Only a dyno run will show the truth!

Hay, it sounds faster, feels faster and is more fun to drive. Maybe we can call this a "seat of the pants" dyno.

The cat-back is quieter since it's not completely straght throug.
The plumbing has a bigger diameter from the cat back, thus, creating less back pressure. I really like mine, it's loud without being intruding.
