I am running over 20PSI and mods galore and im getting exactly 20mpg city and highway its like 29.
Oh so wrong. Much more to it than that.

X2

the turbo pcm is set to spike 10psi boost. The dsp (which i own) cant reduce boost below minimum/default value of the pcm... Which means you cant run lower than stock boost.

Silenoids, ic, pipes, exhaust manifold, turbofold, reroute vac lines (all), etc

there is ALOT involved!

Anyone can SAY they have or have done anything. If your really interested check out srtforums.com or ptcrew.com or neons.org... Do research

I thought I read SRT intake doesn't fit a PT...
I don't think it's as simple as you imply.
I did the swap check my links out. All he needs is the map sensor and the three sensors that control boost (not required), tip sensor (not required) and the secondary map sensor (required). If he doesn't know what an SRT is than he is way above his head i wasn't planning to overload the guy with info if he doesn't understand the basics (no offense intended)

None taken. I was just thinking of buying a Kit and having my Dad (who is a is part mechanic) put it in. But seriously it sounds like too much of a hassle. I'm more a a tech geek (PC, Video games etc.) I love fixing electronics.

no problem, you already have the harness, all you need is the three sensors, and to remap your computer or get an srt computer, SRT stands for Street Racing Technology, its a racing division from chrysler like trd to toyota, Si to honda, M series to BMW it basically your average car undercover race car. between 2003 and 2005 the dodge neon came SRT utilizing the pt cruiser turbo engine just simply more aggressive tuning on the computer. Everything is interchangeable and works great. Check out the link below and you can see the amount of work i had to go through i have an 01 non turbo and the old harness (which is not compatible with the new computer.)

So it would be easier for me because I have a new Harness? So it would simply be purchase new computer and turbo kit? Keep in mind my car is the Touring edition... so it might have the Computer.

Auto or manual? if its stick you can.... (needing to take the car to the dealer to get the skim key programed) use a stage one computer of an SRT. the difference between the computers is the that the cruiser has the option of having an auto tranny which means you need to buy a tuner and "teach" the computer what to do once the turbo kicks in. if you are not turbo already you do not have the right program running.

Umm I seem to understand somewhat. My Car is a Automatic Touring 05 Convertible. I read that these cars also could have Turbo optional.... (if you want try to give me the technical and then the lyman terms and I can understand everything a lot better)

In this case you would need to buy

1. turbo manifold of an SRT or turbo pt cruiser
2. Hot side pipe used (turbo to intercooler pipe)
3. Pt cruiser intercooler used
4. pt cruiser up pipe used (intercooler to throttle body)
5. stage 1 injectors (with more air more gas is needed)
6. either a turbo pt computer, or a Diablosport or SCT flasher
7. a few extra sensors for boost management used
8. oil lines and water lines to lube and cool the turbo used
9. intake for the new turbo (time to buy a K&N intake!)
10. Misc. Things always come up.

and for the person that said "that you cannot lower boost... aftermarket waste gate and plugging the boost controller the computer wont care i ran 5 PSI for the first week after doing the swap.
