Could I put a turbo in my 05 vert?

I own an 05 vert touring edition. The engine is a 4 cylinder one. Im wondering if putting a turbo on it would improve my gas millage.

1) you need a kit, like Hahn, which doesn't make them any longer.
2) The best is a MPG or 2 better
My '05 gets about 1-2 MPG more than my '02 did, but that could be because I'm older... ;-)

Seriously is the turbo really worth?

That's entirely up to you. Do you want the added extra power, maybe a couple extra miles per gallon? You also probably have to upgrade the octane level meaning the price of your fill-up will be more. All depends on what you want.

Those in front of you that have asked the same question usually received an answer that it was easier to trade/sell you non-turbo in and buy a newer PT that already has the turbo.

Now if money is under control (which i bet it is) buying a used turbo manifold of an SRT4 and the computer you can simply bolt it right in. Then technically with a diablosport tuner you can tune it down to lets say 6-7 pounds and that will save gas much better not saying or promising 45MPG but mid 20's is very possible. I am running over 20PSI and mods galore and im getting exactly 20mpg city and highway its like 29.

How much one one of those thingies cost? and what exactly is a SRT4?

And what about intercooler?
What about different wiring harness for turbo?
I thought I read SRT intake doesn't fit a PT...
I don't think it's as simple as you imply.
