Hello everyone. I have an 03' Dreamcruiser #0518 and it is having an A/C problem. The fan blower works, but it does not get cold. I also noticed that the compressor is not working. Usually when I have the A/C on, I can hear the compressor make some noise under the hood, and I can feel the additional load on the engine
. But now, both the noise and the load is gone.I already checked the HVAC fuse and it is still ok. Any input will be appreciated. |

Sounds like the refrigerant is gone. At least on some older vehicles I've had, if the refrigerant has leaked too far, some kind of a switch/sensor dis-engages the compressor. Had the exact same thing on my old AMC Eagle. After the system was recharged it all worked great. Good luck!
