new tranny and other goodies
well got a few goodies for the pt, should be done with it on wednesday. I got the following:
-agp wastegate actuator- will do a vacuum reroute when installed to rid a little ptb, but i drive really easy as is so that's not a problem.
-agp dogbones- my mounts are broken and these are a tad more than new soft mounts. I've read good things.
-booger bushings- my shifter bushings are shot so for $21 can't beat it.
-sachs oem clutch kit-2 year warranty and was $206. 20% more torque and had 60k on my clutch, figured why not. rear main will be done as well
-65k used tranny-500 shipped from florida, 12 month warranty on it for the 5spd.
what do you all think? i ran a 15.0 at 96 best with a lot of wheel hop so after the first run i just eased off the line. i was spiking 14psi and holding 8-10 at redline so hopefully i'll gain a little more up top with the new wga. i thought of a LSD but for 1600, i'll pass on it.
oh and my car weighed 3120 at the track with no back seats and over a half tank of gas
