I keep reading about adding nitrous wet system to Turbo engine. Is anyone doing that? If yes, what have results been? Any problems?
Thanks |

I think AT58 does [:I]

there would be a definite risk of leaning out with nitrous and very raised boost. I personally think boost is better, so i'm gonna go with a Nitrous style intercooler to lower the charge temp instead. Plus it's street legal

AT58 certainly does have nitrous on top of the turbo.
He pulled about 275hp when he joined me on the chassis dtno. Where is nitrous illegal? I am the only NOS authorized refill station in my area. It's perfectly legal to play with the juice here. I supply drivers from Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. |

Nitrous is illegal to carry unless you have a hazmat, here in Canada. It is legal to carry if you hold the license, but under no circumstances is it legal to have the bottle connected.

In Delaware, I beleive, the law is you can have it in your car, just as long as it isnt connected to the engine. But no one checks anything here in DE. As long as you pass inspection, you are good. I know many people that have, and run nitrous in their car, and they never get caught because they never check it, even if they got caught speeding.

Glad to see the Mounties are busy saving Canadians from themselves.

Yes I run a 75hp nitrous on top of my stage 1 turbo. I have not been to the dyno after putting on the stage 1 but I can tell you as MX-5 has posted above I amazed a bunch of people with the numbers I got 275Hp 366 Torque at the wheels. The only problem I have come across is DO NOT hit the Nitrous under 15 MPH or you get a nasty backfire. Thank God I installed the spray nozzle in the rubber part of the intake hose because the backfire blew it out or I may have had some serious internal damages.
