Exploded view of PT from manual

Hi guys,

Does anyone have the service manual and if you do, can you scan the exploded view section of the manual for the PT GT if there is one...I want to take the front right side cowling off to get at the underside of the bodywork to work out a "ding" in my metal but want to know what I am getting into first.

Go here to see info on downloading a copy of the 2001-2003 service manual. I downloaded it and now I have a complete manual on my hard drive. You need to DL 10 files from one site and then 3 more from another site. Everything you need to know is at this UK forum site:

COWL GRILLE SCREEN
REMOVAL
(1) Remove wiper arms (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/
WIPERS/WASHERS/WIPER ARMS - REMOVAL).
(2) Open hood.
(3) Remove screws attaching right cowl grille
screen (Fig. 1).
(4) Remove right cowl grille screen from vehicle.
(5) Remove screws attaching left cowl grille screen.
(6) Remove left cowl grille screen from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Open hood.
(2) Place left cowl grille screen into position (Fig.
1).
(3) Install attaching screws.
(4) Place right cowl grille screen into position.
(5) Install attaching screws
(6) Install wiper arms (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/
WIPERS/WASHERS/WIPER ARMS - INSTALLATION).
(7) Close hood.

GTSteve - I tried conecting to his FTP, but it didn't work. I clicked on the link in his post, and all it shows is stuff labeled 2001. am I missing something, or just a 'tard?

Not to jump in on GTSteve, but I downloaded the manual last night with no problems. You can get the first 10 parts from the first link mentioned, and further down in the thread the last 3 parts are linked by another poster. Get them from him and you will have it all. Once downloaded, just double-click on the first file with the .exe extension and it will complete the process. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it and it does include the '03 models, including the turbo. Good luck.

Thanks so much (especially GTSteve)...this really made my day!!!
I'm still trying to find what I need however inside the manual...I have a "ding" above the right front wheel beside the hood on the curve of the wheel well...I'll have a looksy this weekend to see what is involved in getting to the bare metal on the inside...

Yeah I would but I'll have to confirm that tommorrow...with my job I travel a lot and right now my wife is at University so life is hectic...
