I was in the chat room and a few others were in there. I sent them a message but no answer. I must be doing something wrong. I signed in at the top with my user name, then typed a message but apparently they didnt see it. Any Ideas??

No, I think the way that it works is that it retains all previous messages sent, so if someone says something, then leaves, and you come in a few hours later, you see what the conversation was before you got there.Never seen that before.
One thing it lacks is a list of who is currently in the room, but hey, it's free.
