Wells, as mentioned during a CHAT, i got myself a speeding ticket 149KM in a 100KM zone, $359.00 ticket (cdn), 4 points.
Insurance is going to love this : ( I was in a game of tag, not really a race we all took turns as leader, lasted for about 30KM, then the cherries on an unmarked we passed came on, I was the chosen one. Nissan Altima SE V6 vs 1990's camero vs GT Punch going to court to try and svae points. |

in the name of all that is holy use standard measurements... heathen Canadians and your metric system....
Sorry 'bout the ticket but frankly racing, even in jest, on the street should incur some form of penalty. Time and a place for everything mate. ![]() ~Beac |

For miles and mph, roughly, just cut it in half.

As 2sb said, his approach will get you in the ballpark. The conversion factor for KM to Miles is actually 0.621371. Therefore 100 KM/hr is 62 mph and 149 KM/hr is 92.6 mph. For guesstimates, I usually multiply kilometers by .6 to get miles.

Hey Saki, they gave me a ticket for 95 in a 65 just between Valdosta and Tifton on I-75 on Labor Day Weekend. It was $500 but I got it reduced to $250.

Hey Punch, I think Beacon is just jealous, I mean you cant drive on the streets in NY let alone race. Which I dont understand, the last time I drove through the Bronx, traffic was doing a major wiggle in front of me, and when I got to the wiggle it was a Hun-die settin in the middle of the lanes on the frame, all four doors open, and nothing left,it didnt even have paint on it. I'm not kidding, there was no paint left on that car. Trust me I RACED to get out of there.[8D]
Pre Paid Legal policy is cheaper a year than that ticket. Think about it. Just my 2.

Punch:
That is an expensive game of tag you had going. Do you think 90+mph tag is a smart thing to do? |
