Since we've been told that both the GT and the "turbo lite" share the same transmission, and that the stage 1 pcm will work with the turbo lite, does it make sense that one might be able to add the auto stick module to the "turbo lite" at not to great an expense?
Maybe Tommy can give us some perspective from a parts standpoint. |

The autostick is purely software...probably located in a different module somewhere but I don't see the problem if you source the shifter with sensors and the corresponding module that interfaces with the main pcm...

I don't get it, why buy the turbo lite only to spend mega bucks turning it into a GT?

I agree that if it is mega bucks it makes no sense. However, to go from turbo lite to GT Stage 1 preformance ( a 55 to 60 hp gain) will cost about 400 for the stage 1 kit and whatever installation costs (if someone else does it). Let's say it costs 1000 to add the autostick and assume that 300 was spent for labor to add stage 1 kit.
My son's turbo lite cost 19,300 + ttl. With these expenses I would have 21,000 in it. Seems like a fairly good return on an extra $1,700. An even better return if I skip the autostick.
