Default Weird sound just disappeared?

Hey guys I just got a 2003 PT Cruiser GT, and as I was driving off, there was a cylinder 2 mis-fire o.O not wanting to give it back to the dealer just as I got it I went out and bought new wires and a coil pack (Which was a pain to install haha). Either way, at the time I only replaced one spark plug. There was a squeak that I thought for sure was a loose serpentine belt, but just yesterday I got my Iridium plugs and installed them, and the sound just disappeared! I've never heard of plugs making a noise like that... Any idea what would make it just disappear?

when/if the belt gets wet you will get a squeeling but it does eventualy go away. had that happen in both neon and PT

That would explain it - when belt dries - no squeal...

Could also be the belt tensioner. When they start to go bad the squeak is intermittent. If it comes back, take a short section of old garden hose and use it as a stethescope. probe one end down around the tensioner with the other end to your ear and listen for the sqeak. It will eventually become constant and DRIVE YOUR ****ING NUTS UNTIL YOU CHANGE IT...AAAAAAAHHHH

Yeah I know that if it's wet it will stop when it's dry, but the thing is that it was doing it for a few days until I got all my new plugs, and it did it right before I installed them... Could it be that one of them was loose or something? It really makes no sense because it was making the noise, then I put the new ones in and it stopped... It made the noise for like a good week so I don't think it was because they were wet...

when i did my timing belt and water pump in the neon i got a small amout of antifreeze on the belt and washed it off but some was still on there and ended up squeeling for almost 2 weeks. it was squeeling for about 3 months before because the pump was leaking before i could finally get to work on it.

That one atleast makes sense though. Even my technician is confused though because we put the old plug back in and it makes the squeal again, put the new one in and it's gone, I really have never heard of plugs making that noise.
