Dave you dog! If you wasnt spending all that money on the PT, you could afford to fix your scanner.
![]() Glad you had fun, you didnt tell me you was going to open a can of whop ass on a vette. And thanks for the tip on the dash Saterday, got a little job I have been wanting to do for a long time. Question, I know you kicked the MBC to the curb, you think it was a combo of temp and reaction time that made the car run better on Sunday than it did on Saterday.? And e-me if you go to the 1/8th mile track, I would like to go if I can.

Rodrun,
It was certainly the temp and better track conditions that helped the times. Reaction time would have no bearing on the actual ET or speed, however. If you noticed, the speed was slower in the first two runs than the last three. That was mostly due to a fairly strong headwind earlier in the day that changed to a crosswind later in the day. I will be at Redline Raceway in Caddo Mills next Sunday. Gates open at 8:00 AM. Redline is a 1/8 mile facility with a pretty good track, but the design in the staging and burnout area are cramped, making it impossible to avoid the water box. You almost HAVE to do some kind of a burnout to get the water off your tires. Of course, the rear tires just bring more water along for the next racer to deal with. Not a good setup for street radials. Look at it this way. A rear wheel drive car doing a burnout will usually wipe out the water tracked by the front wheels, but no such luck for us front wheel drivers. Due to this fact, I don't expect to do anything like what I was doing at the Motorplex.

How about a 13 sec time that would be more impressive I am guessing that you got the "autostick"
