Don,
Where did you get the stalk mount on your left side? How does it mount at the stalk end? What dia. is it? Nice job on that!! I guess you could get some hollow threaded rod, washers and double nut, drill the pod, double nut it in the pod with Red Locktite, cover with wire wrap color of your choice. I know they make all kinds of fittings for threaded rod. But if your stalk is bendable, hollow to run wires, then the world just opened up in places I wanna mount gauges.

Again nice job!

he doesn't have any guages on his stalks, there bolted to the plastic panel surronding the steeringwheel guts'

you simply bolt the bottom part of the guage braket to the panel, then bolt the guage pod into the braket.

(hmm I think what you see is the wire loom he has running up the side to hide the wires, is this the stock your talking about?)

Don, nice guage setup[?]
What did you use for the mounts to the steering column? Any details that I could copy would be appreciated.
thats your standard guage bracket, he just bent the bottoms in a bit.

My bad. I just saw the wire loom in the back and missed the bracket in the front. Hell to get old and not use your glasses when needed.

Thanks for the complements. It was very easy. I used autometer gauge cups and bolted them to the plastic cover. Just need to be sure to avoid getting in the way of the levers so they still move. They do block the tach over 7,000 and the gas gauge under 1/4 tank but all minor problems. On the boost gauge I used a 90deg adapter on the back of the gauge to avoid any sharp bends and it is TÂ’ed into the turbo timer under the dash.

The first time this dealer let me down. I went to pu my Mopar Boost gage and he ordered me the wrong one and the one I wanted is way to much money. So much for having the big M on the face, guess I'll have to settle for the regular ones.

Yea, the Mopar gauges are very expensive. They appear to be relabeled Autometer gauges. Autometer is the brand I have used for many years without any problems.
