Yup, got it on with no problem, Handles like a Champ. They are Falken Azenis 255/40ZR/17's. The ST115's. Clear the strut and bump stop with no problem. No rubbing issues either. If you want pics just lemme know.

Oh yeah, our tires were 235/50R17s. Bigger in diameter, plus a bit of camber (-2 deg)...

Once again my boy works for Discount Tire/America's Tire out west, He put 245/45/17 on a stock wheel only under the recommendation that the guy not go to a slalom course, unless he goes back to the stock 205. I will be putting 215/50/17 for new skins on soon.

What "IF" an emergency situation arises and the driver of that car has to make one of those typical salom(sp) type manevuers, can he count on those really cool looking, oversize out of spec tires, doing their job? Is having, really cool looking, oversize out of spec tires, on your wheels something that you really want to bet your life on? I agree with going back to a recommend size.

225/45 17 Azenis, BARELY fit on a stock rim. 3 guys and 3 prybars to do it too.....I would rec no more than a 215 45 , 225's if you HAD to, on stock rims....P.S Knowing how my 225's look, I would personally kick the guys ass after I got a look at what 255's would look like. Not to mention, they would handle like **** with all that roll out!

Status update, these tires rule. I haven't had any problems. I have tried ebrake U turns, Power launches, and heaving drifting. Not a problem, nor have I thrown them out of balance. They handle much better than stock. The car handles like its on rails. Just thought I'd let you guys know. [8]
