Default '05 GT convert

New to the forum,

My GT convert has developed a front end (wheel) noise. I have had this before but this time it is very noticeable and all the things I did in the past to get rid of the noise is not working. The noise is like there is something caught in the wheel or the brake pad. The noise is a circular sound and is definitely tied to the motion of the tire going around. It also seems to get noisier when I turn left or right. In the past I would take the convert to the power car wash and use a hi pressure hose on it and it took care of the problem but this time no such luck.
Any ideas for me?
Thanks jessej

And what is it that makes you believe it is wheel bearings? Is this a problem with the 05 Cruisers?
Thanks,
jessej

Something to read:

Poll: Wheel Bearing Replacement

Poll: Who's NEVER replaced their Wheel Bearings

Jessej, Why in the world would you jump directly to the conclusion that this would be an inherant problem with the 05 PTs? All cars are susceptible to wheel bearing failures. In fact I'd be willing to bet if you kept it long enough, the bearings on any car would fail sooner or later. If the aftermarket bearing manufacturers relied on the PTs to keep them afloat, they wouldn't last long. They made about a million and a half PTs, so you're going to get some failures, as it is with any other car models.

Jerry,
I was not inferring that just attempting to find out IF it was a problem that has surfaced in the '05 models. I have had many, many vehicles in my time and this is the first wheel bearing problem. jessej

Might also be CV joint. Hard to say without being there. They get noisey in the turns too but quiet down in the straight. If you start to feel it catching and bumping its a good possibility. The dealer will check this out too.
