Mr.Blonde, not to much to it. You connect one end to the underside of the intake were the pipe and heat shield are attached. The other end goes to the bolt that holds the coolant lines to the valve cover. Should take about 15 mins. It is easier if you remove the intake.

Thanks for the pics flash. I can see the strap just fine. AC must be blind. Oh well, he'll be the one installing it. LOL

PT-Tuning and I want to sincerely apologize for my error of not testing the envelopes better before sending out the load of brackets to our customers. The vast majority did receive them but we hoped you who did not would contact us when you found the envelope with directions only. We now understand that some people figured that brackets would follow the instructions and were just being nice and patient. We're terribly sorry for any frustration we caused you. If you are too busy to call us toll free @ 866 643 7624 just email me your name to maier@pt-tuning.com

If you should hear of anyone else who needs the part please encourage them to call or drop us a line via email, we are eager to make this right.

Very Truly Yours,
Maier Shadi

I must say I am very impressed with the customer service from PT tuning. My strap is on the way and I received a very apologetic email for the delay. I can assure you I will continue to do business with PT-tuning and will recommend them to anyone who will listen.

Wish I could agree with ya, made two purchases from them so far and had problems both times. This includes poor shipping materials/packaging, missing items (that were checked off on the packing list but couldn't have fit in the box if you melted them down to soup) and disappointing customer service - before thing go bad that is, once I have a problem they are fairly helpful. I'm hoping I'm just getting my bad luck out of the way early as I do like the quality of the actual merchandise and the prices.

I have to agree with you on the quality aspect of the merchandise. I have only ordered two items (the intake and Strut Tower bar) Both arrived in pristine condition with no major difficulties.

At least at the end of the day Beacon you got your issues addressed and came away happy. All you need to do is read some of the horror stories out there ( I won't mention any names) to see how bad it could be.

I've always believed that sometimes mistakes happen. It's what you do when confronted with the mistake that makes for a good customer service experience or a bad one.

Will the BTG CAI void the waranty? I didnt think it would but someone told me that if i took the car to the dealership without putting the old intake in, they could void my warranty on the spot.
