Default BTG Intake support strap

Hoping you guys can shed some light on this.

About four weeks ago I recieved a second copy of my receipt from PT-Tuning for my intake that I purchased back in August. Also in the envelope was a new set of instructions that mention a support strap.

I had heard on this board that a fix was coming for the intake to prevent movement which was causing the turbo boot to get shredded.

I assumed that this strap was on its way to me but four weeks have passed and nothing has happened. Has anyone gotten these staps yet??

Thanks all

nbr10,
Same thing happened to me. The strap fell out of the envelope. I called PT tuning and they overnighted a new strap and elbow. My elbow had started to tear. Check yours. The strap makes the intake very solid.

If you order a new intake from PT tuning, is the strap included... as well as the instructions to install the strap? How hard was it to install the strap?

If I could have got better pics it wouldn't be so hard,AC! The strap is running from underside of tube coming up from turbo and bolts to the valve cover under that coolant line retainer . It's best seen in the upper pic where I pulled the intake tube off . Sorry it's so bad !
