Angry Radiator Issues

'04 Limited with Turbo

On October 1, 2010 I noticed radiator was leaking. Took it to a shop, and was told that the support bracket under the radiator had buckled due to unknown causes, and was rubbing on radiator. This is turned, caused radiator to crack at the release valve. Radiator and bracket replaced.

October 15, 2010. Fluid once again leaking. Take it back to shop, and told that a clamp on a hose was loose. Repaired at no charge.

November 1, 2010. I once again notice anti-freeze leaking from car. Take it back to shop. Support bracket bent, rubbing on radiator, which caused a crack at the nipple at the bottom of the release valve. Told total radiator replacement is once again needed.

Is this weak support bracket/cross beam just an issue on MY PT, or is this something that happens a lot? I've had this car for 2 years, and while we've had water pump replaced, this past month is first time with radiator issues. Is there any other fix we can do so that this bracket isn't rubbing the radiator?

We park a good foot away from parking curbs, take any and all dips slow. Do everything possible to avoid anything scraping or rubbing. Ready to just sell the damn car, I can't afford the $1100 every 30 days to keep replacing this!

Yeah, $400 or so for parts and rest in labor. Luckily enough for us, insurance covered first one.
