Default Turbo oil feed line replace...HELP

I purchased a rebuilt turbo for my 05 conv. The service manual says to replace the oil feed line... I SEE WHY. The line is plugged with I assume is carbon build up from the previous owner not using synthetic oil or never changing it... My problem is the line where it attaches to the engine is a MOTHER F'er to get at. Anyone ever do this? And if so, please tell me how and if you know the size of the fitting... Appreciate all the info/help/shortcuts anyone can give...

Get in there with a small tubing cutter and cut the line as close as possible. Then use a deepwell socket to remove it. Other wise you have to pull the exhaust manifold off and that means pulling the intake off also. Or a crows foot on a 3/8 extension will do the job. These line are real bad about clogging up even with synthetic oil in them. I covered mine in header heat tape when I replaced my turbo due to a clogged line.

It was easier for me to remove a bracket that is attached to the steering rack and block. It looks to be aluminum and is held in by 4 bolts. When removed, access to that fitting is a much easier. I took an open ended 5/8 wrench and cut it down to about 4in. It's still a mother f'er to get at. But it is possible. Just take ur time and wait for hand cramps to go away.
