Default 03 slave cylinder problem

Just doing this for a friend. It seems like her slave cylinder is going bad. Just need to make sure that the tranny has to be pulled to do this on a turbo. Does the entire carriage have to be pulled in order to pull the tranny? Just trying to see if this is omething I can do without a lift or if you really need a lift to do it.

The master in inside the bell housing. I did mine in my garage on jack stands with a couple jacks. I would not suggest it as a first DIY project.

You will need a good trans jack to get it out. You will definitey need a shop manual. Get lots of ziplock bags to label for screws, nuts parts. Get a digital camera if you have any questions about how it all goes back and shoot as you take it apart. It took me 2 days of work the first time but I could probably cut quite a bit off now that I have done it once. Still a job that I don't really ennjoy.

do the cluthc and pressure plate at the same time of course. If you have ANY questions about your flywheel get a new one.
