Default Worst Gas Milage Ever

I do not know what the issue is

1. Ive the the leak test noting
2. I changed to Ird plugs
3. I got MSD wires
4. I did the whole K&N filter stuff

I am only getting about 18-19 miles on the highway, i have a 2005 PT GT Turbo

I replaced the muffler

I have verified tire pressure.

The car runs very very smooth , no misses or anything. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Members on here recommend the stock copper plugs as it is possible that the iridium tips may melt with a turbo. ??

Do you drive with two feet? Not being smart, but, some people have that habit and it can cause the brakes to drag..resulting in bad mileage AND frequent brake repair.
Or maybe the brakes are just not releasing as they should, how many miles on the car?
Some people don't use the e-brake regularly...then they park on a grade and use it...most times it will stick or cause the brakes to drag.

It has 52k miles on it. I am a cruise controll driver. I did some research and the car is suppose to be getting 24-25 mpg on the highway. Breaks are fine. I use one foot. I was getting better milage when i got the car and its just went down hill are the plugs i got a bad idea?

I live in columbus ohio so 90% of my driving is highway....

Unless the mileage went down at the exact same time you changed the plugs, they should be ok. I have heard many people on here using them with no problems.
Gas mileage varies from one to another. My GT(atx) averages about 24-25 on the highway, and more like 21-22 in the city. I once had a 4 cyl s10 that got 15 mpg all the time, and felt like it had less than 50 hp, but thats another story...
If you have checked most of the gas robbing components, I would probably try different gas brands and drive/accelerate more slowly(difficult i know) for at least 1 tank of gas, and see if it goes up any.
