Default Power loss

Good Morning Our new Turbo(2003) is in the shop for the third time in two weeks for power loss. She either refuses to start - no power at all and cannot move the gear shift - or her new trick - stalling after idling at a light and refusing to start. On two occasions, the back windows have gone down even while locked on the dash control and would not go up until the car had been turned off and back on - when you are highway driving and this happens, it is disconcerting! The computer has been replaced at teh dealership. Yesterday, the engine light came on as we were driving and she locked in second gear. The autostick would not work. The Dealer is stymied. Help, please.

Agreed. Read up on your "lemon law" rights. Has to be 3 times for same complaint. Good luck!

Have they checked the PCM connector and wiring harness. This may be caused by water getting into the PCM/harness/connectors. There was a post on a recall for water getting into the pcm and corroding the harness connectors. PCM seals mis-positioned and leaking. Since the pcm talks to the other module it may also affect the windows? Not sure if the recall affects your particular vehicle but it may be worth a try.
