Default PCM's on National Back-order??
The service guy looked at my 03 GT and said that he will replace the PCM (due to the 5200 rpm stumble) but it might be a while because the PCM's are on backorder.

Anybody else been told this?

Had mine ordered and replaced last week. They did'nt seem to have a problem getting it.

I was told it was on Backorder too and yet it arrived within a week. Someone told me that some parts will always show on backorder until they are ordered because they are vehicle specific. Not sure how true this statement is though.

PTucker, your really going to have to read these forums......

peeps are getting a 'stall"at 5300rpm, a new pcm fix's the issue and turns out it makes the car run better...

Ok, I can stop being pissed off now. I just called the dealer and it arrived this morning. Coincidence?? Who knows, but at least it's there, and it only took 3 weeks.

I thought that was only with the 03 GT?

That is my read on it too and only for specific manufacturing dates!
