Default driveshaft problem??

I remember reading sometime back about a lower steering column problem but i don't think this is the same thing. If i turn my wheel all the way (or close to it), such as in a parking lot, and accelerate at any pace; i get a clunking sound. The sound stops once the wheels are straightened out again... I think it may be a driveshaft problem.
This is seen quite often on lowered cars, but mine is stock height. This probably wouldn't be a warrantee issue either, which really sucks... Any thoughts??

Get your vehicle to a trusted service center right away, CV joint lockup can be dangerous. The replacement joint should not be expensive, check the rest while you're atit.

I agree with IRPT. What's your mileage? Check CV boots for cracks or tears that would have let in dirt or moisture. It's drivetrain so it should be warranty

COP, my '03 GT has about the same KM's, I have not had that sound from the front end, but now you know I'll be listening for it.

COP TZER

I've had the same noise/feel in the same situation - but it has been intermitent and I haven't heard it recently. My car has less than 9K miles on it.

Based on the other's comments here, sounds like we should get it checked.

BTW - I drive my car pretty easy and it has no performance mods.
