Default 1st MOD ordered!!
I just ordered this for my New DC3...

Other online stores list this Magnaflow exhaust at $350 to $500!! So I figured $280 ($310 with shipping) wasn't that bad.

You got a good price. I liked the MAGNAFLOW PERFORMANCE EXHAUST that I had on my 2003 GT--sounded great and looked sharp! [8D]

but its only 2 1/4, you should've went 2.5"

Not sure there is a "real need" for 2.5" unless you are planning to install the Stage 2 Turbo Upgrade where it is required. [:I]

2.4L I-4, 5x8x14" Muffler, 2.25" Tubing, Rear Exit, 4" Tip

Oh boooo. Hopefully the muffler will help.

As for the Airraid: Woot! I love mine!

then there is no need to change the stock muffler at all, since it's already a highflow muffler. your spending money on making noise, heck i got a BOV for sale if you want that tooo...

Damn Punch

Gotta agree with you here. I'm running 2.5" pipe from the Cat back to the stock muffler. The benefits are very noticeable on the top end. I end up really pulling away from folks at about 70MPH, I can get up to a 100MPH real damn quick. I'm gonna put my K&N on today and drive it for a week. Then when I get my Airraid, I'll do the same for it and see which one is the best for me. The K&N that I have looks real damn good, but I like the design of the AirRaid from the pictures that I've seen.

You should get someone else to drive your GT and follow next to it on the open highway. I swear, that stock muffler sounds like a wind tunnel. You can hear all the air just sloshing around. I was disgusted. I cant wait to run resonators only. My PT was NO top end. I burn people from the line but the car just gives up in high 3rd (Autostick) gear.

Im serious. Defintely have someone drive your car and listen to it.
